Aaron Ryan, owner of TV Central, joined Bec and Jeziel every fortnight to help us dive into the world of TV and streaming. This week he told us all about the 63rd Annual TV Week Logies.

The ceremony was hosted by Sam Pang, making it the first time in eleven years that the event returned to having a solo host. “I thought he was awesome. I think if you if you know Sam Pang you would have thought yep right on the mark maybe a couple of little misses. But if you didn’t know Sam Pang, I can understand why some people might have thought it was hit-and-miss.”

The Gold Logie for the most popular personality on Australian Television was awarded to Sonia Kruger. “She’s been around since she was Tina Sparkles in Strictly Ballroom. She hosts a lot of shows. She’s done Dancing with the Stars already this year. She’s gonna move straight into doing The Voice and then Big Brother.”

Shockingly, Crazy Fun Park beat Bluey for Outstanding Children’s Program. “If it was in a popular category, we would have all been voting for it. But this was an outstanding category which is voted by a panel of behind-the-scenes people. So they’re looking very specifically at episodes and looking for certain things.”
