Most expensive french fries: $200

Serendipity3 in the Upper East Side of Manhattan snagged a Guinness World Record for their Creme de la Creme Pommes Frites – a plate of fries that’ll set you back a cool $200. What’s in it? Chipperbeck potatoes, Dom Perignon Champagne, French goose fat, truffle oil, and even 23-karat edible gold dust on top. Talk about fancy fries!

Most expensive sandwich: $214

But wait, there’s more! Serendipity3 also nailed another record with their Quintessential Grilled Cheese, priced at a jaw-dropping $214. This golden sandwich features Dom Perignon Champagne bread, grass-fed white truffle butter, and slices of Caciocavallo Podolico cheese. Yep, it’s literally gold-plated.

Most expensive crab cake: $310

Now, let’s talk about the world’s most expensive crab cake, coming in hot at $310. Chef Lazarius Ken Leysath Walker from The Twist restaurant in Columbia, S.C., whipped up a masterpiece with king crab meat, black truffles, platinum leaves, and dust. It’s a true seafood symphony.

Most expensive ice cream: $6,696

Dessert, anyone? Japanese brand Cellato created the Byakuya ice cream, a flavor that costs an eye-watering $6,696 per serving. Why? It’s made with a rare white truffle from Italy that’s worth nearly $7,000 per pound. Add in Parmigiano Reggiano and sake lees, and you’ve got a dessert fit for a king.

Most expensive cheese: $32,000

But we’re not done yet. The world’s priciest cheese, a 4.8-pound wheel of Cabrales blue cheese, went for a record-breaking $32,000 at auction. Crafted by Guillermo Pendás in the mountain caves of Asturias, this cheese is a true masterpiece and holds a Guinness World Record.
