Become a 12 Buckets mentor and help change a child’s life.
It takes a village to raise a child: 12 Buckets (12B) supports the social and emotional well-being of children and youth who are experiencing disadvantage and hardship and the demand is growing rapidly. Through their mentoring program, they match volunteer mentors from the community with children who need extra support. The volunteer mentor meets with the child for 1 hour per week during the school terms in a school based in the north metropolitan suburbs of Perth. The 12B program is about building a relationship that can go a long way for a child who may lack emotional support from an adult in their life. There are currently children on 12B's waiting list, with the list growing every day.
Visit the website. https://12buckets.org/become-a-mentor/ and they will be in contact to organise an information session with you (either online, or face-to-face at their office in Balga).
