The Australian Philatelic Federation has chosen Perth, Western Australia to host Australia’s next full national competition-class stamp exhibition in 2023. Stamp Collectors from around Australia will submit their entries to be judged by a panel of Judges to win medals and prizes.
The entries are made up of a minimum of 16 pages that are displayed in frames for public viewing at the exhibition.
It is anticipated more than 14,000 pages of stamps and covers will be displayed over 900 frames.
The event has been endorsed by the Australian Stamp Dealers Association and the Australian Numismatic Dealers Association with stamp and coin dealers from around Australia buying and selling at the Exhibition and offering free valuations.
Australia Post will have a stand at the venue that will offer limited philatelic products which will only available to visitors to the Exhibition.
All children visiting the exhibition will receive free giveaways, and mail posted from the venue will receive a special exhibition postmark.
Volunteer Mobility Ambassadors will be on hand to assist elderly and disabled to more easily access the event.
