Creativity, connection, culture, curiosity, kids' events and more feature at the free Coogee Live festival. Stretching 1.5km along the coast from North Coogee to Coogee Beach Reserve and divided into four “hubs”, the Coogee Live program is centred around community with the theme ‘radiate’ interwoven throughout. Register to create your own lantern and join the symbolic City of Cockburn Lantern Parade. There are over 150 different activities across the four hubs, each with its own theme. Some unmissable activities include The Radiate Concert with VisAbility band Grand Delusions who’ll team up with an ensemble from Perth Symphony Orchestra, The Great Mermaid Migration, crab races, Pinot & Picasso speed painting sessions, Colours of Coogee dance performances, cultural stories, live art performances, pet training sessions, children’s learning activities, interactive activities and more. The Great Cake Off sees bakers team up with someone from a different generation – a granny, uncle, neighbour or friend, to bake a delicious tasting cake.
