75th Anniversary Commemoration of the Vyner Brooke Tragedy

Special honour for Australian Army Nurses on board the Vyner Brooke when sunk, who were lost at sea, massacred at Radji Beach, Bangka Island or died as Prisoners of War.

Her Excellency the Honourable Kerry Sanderson AC Governor of Western Australia will be the guest speaker.

The commemoration service, will be attended by the Governor of WA, families and friends of the army nurses, ex army nurses, politicians, City of Melville Mayor and councillors, defence personnel, veterans and school students.

Members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Limited seating under marquees, please take sun protection and water if needed. Refreshments provided after ceremony.
