Our favourite foodie, Blake Proud, has been a part of the 98five family for over a year, and now a life with his own family has begun!

After weeks of anticipation, Blake announced on Instagram that he and his fiance Ella have welcomed a little girl into the world. We might be biased, but we think she has the most perfect name. Please meet, Sunny Proud!

Each week Blake serves up delicious, nutritious meals for Kirste and Dan on the Brekky Show. He shares how you can take his My Kitchen Rules skills into your own kitchen. Of course, over the last few months, our food focused conversations have been a little distracted by baby updates. Listening to Blake tell us how excitedly and (not so) patiently he was awaiting the due date brought us so much joy. And boy, did Sunny make her parents wait? Poor Ella was so overdue! Sunny was due to arrive on the 14th of March but didn’t make her appearance until the 28th!

Blake is “so eternally happy”.
